ShellEye presentations

25 May 2017
This month the ShellEye project has been presented at two large shellfish conferences; the Shellfsh Association of Great Britain's Annual Conference and the International Conference on Molluscan Shellfish Safety.

ShellEye Principal Investigator, Dr Peter Miller of Plymouth Marine Laboratory, presented the project and developing bulletin service to a large group of shellfish industry stakeholders ath the Shellfish Association's conference in the beautiful setting of Fishmongers Hall in London.

Dr Wiebke Schmidt, ShellEye scientist from the University of Exeter, presented her ground-breaking work on developing models for forecasting biotoxins and e.coli in coastal waters at the International Conference on Molluscan Shellfish Safety in Galway, Ireland.

Both talks were very well received and the valuable feedback gained will help the team produce a service that is useful and user friendly.
